This unique home combines various green building systems including Insulated Concrete Forms, Structural Insulated Panels, strawbale walls, and solar panels both for grid-tied electricity and heating water for radiant in-floor heat and domestic hot water. A tower houses a unique stair and allows intriguing views between levels. Roofing includes both cement tile, with a lifespan many times that of other roofing materials, and recycled rubber “slate” shingles - custom fit to grace the swooping tower roof. |
